Conferencing Industry Experiencing Fast Times

It seems like now is a busy, exciting time for the conferencing industry. Just recently TMC’s Rajani Baburajan reported that Revolabs, a provider of wireless unified communications products for the enterprise, announced the launch of the Revolabs FLX, a wireless conference phone designed for small- to mid-sized conference rooms, executive offices and SOHO environments.

Based on Revolabs' wireless audio technology, the Revolabs products deliver superior sound quality for audio and video conferencing to large conference rooms and boardrooms. With the newly launched Revolabs FLX, small office conference calls, executive office communication, and home office communication will benefit from that superior wireless audio performance at affordable prices.

What exactly is conferencing? As TMC’s page dedicated to the subject explains, “The increasingly virtual workforce has led to growth in adoption of applications such as VoIP, unified messaging, video-conferencing, and Web conferencing. Collaborative events should be easy and quick to set up, and seamless from everyone's perspective, as well as occur in real time.”

Conferencing tools, such as Yamaha's  Projectphone, designed with IP communication functions, enable high fidelity remote conferencing. The end-to-end process of conducting business via a conference solution can be engrained with frustrations. With the appropriate conferencing solution a smooth multiperson response can be attained, making remote conferencing easy on listeners and talkers.

Also, we note that TMC’s Madhubanti Rudra wrote that Emergent, a provider of comprehensive IT products including product acquisition, consulting and training services, announced a partnership with MeetingOne, a full service audio and web-conferencing, eLearning, event solution and consulting services provider.

Emergent officials explained that the collaboration will help provide its public sector customers with superior audio conferencing by adding MeetingOne tool to its GSA  schedule. The initiative clearly reflects Emergent’s mission to offer its clients complimentary best of breed products and technologies for solving mission critical government business challenges.

“Emergent is pleased to announce that MeetingOne has been added to our GSA Schedule, enabling our government customers to cost effectively and smoothly purchase MeetingOne's services. The addition of MeetingOne will only enhance our current vendor line-up by providing robust audio conferencing and excellent customer service to our customers,” the president of Emergent noted.
